Lives Well-Lived: I Remember Baubie and Zadie is a love story that takes the reader from the schtetles (villages) of Russia to America, “the Land of the Free”, at the turn of the 20th century. Diane’s protege, Virginia Mariconda moved by the story of Baubie and Zadie designed a study unit that would communicate the true spirit of the book by providing opportunities for various forms of personal, creative expression, as well as a rich cultural experience.
