What is the Tarot?
The Tarot is a symbolic map of consciousness—an ancient book of wisdom. It’s a powerful healing tool awakening our intuitive processes and addressing our relationship to transformation and change.
What do the cards offer?
These cards present information, inspiration and options regarding how we can transform adversity into an opportunity for growth. They are a reflection pool mirroring that which we have activated in our lives. Through the Tarot, the psyche – our own inner wisdom – has a voice.
How does a Tarot Reading work?
When we use the Tarot, we enter into that sacred space where Soul can communicate with the Seeker. A reading makes clear what we have put into motion, knowingly or unknowingly. It gives us information about the path we are on—what’s working and what’s not working. When something that we are doing or thinking isn’t succeeding, we can make different choices. It’s through our choice making; we co-create our future with the Divine. Whatever information is offered through the Tarot Reading, it’s up to us to make choices that further our journey in a positive direction.
Does It Matter If I have a Reading In Person or Over the Phone?
No. Energetically, we interact with and affect everyone and everything in our world. If you come in person for a reading, then you shuffle the cards while you talk about what you want to know. As you touch the cards, you inform them with your energy.
When the reading is over the phone, you are talking as I shuffle the cards. Again, your energy is informing the cards. I’m merely the conduit for your Reading.
We bless the cards and set the intention that the information we are about to receive is for your Highest Good. The cards are then spread faced down. If the recipient of the reading is present, they intuitively choose five cards (I do a five card reading).
If the reading is done over the phone, I spread the cards face down and alert the recipient that I will be touching each card and they intuitively tell me when to stop. In either situation, the person receiving the reading is intuitively choosing the cards.
A Tarot Reading is an intuitive art that is fed by a deeper part of us — not the ego. Thus, it’s the recipient’s ENERGY that is informing the reading — so the information will be about his or her life.
What follows is several clients’ experience of card readings both in person and over the phone:
“Diane was recommended to me by a friend who had rave reviews about her experiences with Diane. My first visit with her confirmed all the great things my friend had told me about and more!
I met Diane during one of her trips to Omaha and continued connecting with her each time she returned over the next two years. What a gift she has been in my life! The insight and guidance she shares are consistently presented with an open and loving heart.
I have recently moved away from Omaha but am so thankful that Diane and I can still connect through her telephone readings. Even though I miss seeing her beautiful smile when we talk, I can still feel her presence and love when I hear her voice. The energy, information, and truth in my readings, over the phone, are as direct and impactful as they were when I was with Diane in the present moment.
Thank you Diane for all you do!”

“About 18 months ago, I moved from Omaha, NE to the Phoenix, AZ area. Prior to the move, I would meet with Diane in Omaha for Tarot readings. I’ve had many readings over the years and have found that each one provided a new insight into myself and my journey on this earth.
I was so sure that the readings were beneficial because Diane and I were sitting across from each other in the same room, so when Diane suggested a Tarot reading over the phone I was apprehensive.
I had my first phone reading a little over a year ago and found that it was actually better than the in-person reading. (Of course, I miss seeing Diane in person!)
All of the visual distractions and personal queuing that happens in a face-to-face interaction were gone. What was left was a deeper connection to the cards and ultimately to myself. I found in my most recent Tarot reading that the cards were actually “calling out” to me and by closing my eyes; I could visualize each of the cards as we discussed it.
Diane even offered to take pictures of the cards and text them to me if I preferred.
I have gone from apprehension to appreciation to a full embrace of the Tarot phone reading and would recommend it to anyone interested in enhancing his or her journey on this earth.”
